6 more children rescued from Kwara human trafficking syndicate in Lagos

Six more children have been rescued from a suspected human trafficking organization that is based in Kwara State, according to the Lagos Police Command.
This was verified by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday. “A source—whose name I will withhold—who has been supporting the Ijora Badia Police Division in Lagos assisted in the rescue of the extra six children who were being trafficked illegally into Lagos State,” stated Hundeyin. As promised, the source took the kids to the police on Tuesday at around 1:00 p.m.

The creator of the image claimed that CSP Ayoola Olawale, the Ijora Badia Divisional Police Officer, had been in touch with CSP Alice Leramo, the Kwara Police Command’s Officer in Charge of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, right away.

According to Hundeyin, on January 29, 12 children from the Ijora Badia Police Division were freed from the suspect and brought to the Kwara Police Command.

He claimed that in order to get the extra six rescued children, CSP Leramo had committed to sending an investigative team to Lagos again.

He said that by doing this, the Kwara Command will be able to wrap up their investigation and get the kids back with their parents.
